Arranging your marriage
All though marriages can take place at any time of the year, most people choose between April and September. Anyone wishing to be married at St Mary's needs to contact the parish office (0114 269 2403).
An appointment will be made for them to see the church administrator at the parish office when arrangements will be discussed. At least one of the partners must be resident in the parish and this will be made clear at the outset.
Anyone not resident in the parish would need to discuss their needs with the church administrator and, or, the parish priest. More informaton will be given at the first meeting with the administrator.
Your wedding reception
At the completion of the wedding ceremony many couples choose to hold their reception at the Old Rectory which is attached to St Mary's. The gardens of the Old Rectory are very beautiful and make a wonderful backdrop for your treasured photographs.
